Physician Leader/Practice Co-Administrator
Dr. Kassab is a rheumatologist who is board certified by the American Board of Rheumatology and The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, relocating to Charlotte in 2010 to practice as a community rheumatologist. In 2020, he opened South Charlotte Rheumatology as an independent rheumatology practice. He fluently speaks Spanish and Arabic (being originally from Damascus, Syria) and spends most of his time outside of the office with his wife and two children at their home in South Charlotte. He also enjoys playing tennis, watching TV shows and movies and solving jigsaw puzzles.
Caleb Huffman, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Caleb received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kent State University in 2015. He then started his nursing career at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where he gained extensive experience in the emergency room and intensive care unit. He obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at The Ohio State University and graduated in 2021. After graduation, he relocated to Austin, Texas where he worked as a Nurse Practitioner at a wellness center before relocating to Charlotte.
Caleb joined South Charlotte Rheumatology in April of 2023. He is energetic, caring, and fun and loves helping patients achieve their highest quality of life. In his free time, Caleb loves to golf, exercise, try new restaurants and coffee shops, and spend time with his girlfriend.
