Dr. Kassab is a rheumatologist who is board certified by the American Board of Rheumatology and The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, relocating to Charlotte in 2010 to practice as a community rheumatologist. In 2020, he opened South Charlotte Rheumatology as an independent rheumatology practice. He fluently speaks Spanish and Arabic (being originally from Damascus, Syria) and spends most of his time outside of the office with his wife and two children at their home in South Charlotte. He also enjoys playing tennis, watching TV shows and movies and solving jigsaw puzzles.
